 Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians Limited (HKIAAT) was set up in 1988.  It is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (the only statutory licensing body of accountants in Hong Kong).  

 HKIAAT has been offering the Applied Learning course "Practical Accounting for SMEs" to secondary school students since 2005.  The course is designed to arouse students' interest in learning the basic principles and skills of accounting.  It covers a broad scope of studies and practice in accounting through the application of common-used accounting software (MYOB) in the context of a small and medium enterprise.
